And to celebrate Wednesday – and for shits and giggles…here’s a recipe for the Winston Whisky Cocktail. (apparently it’s from Slovakia – whatever – works for me):
- 1 1/2 ounces Johnnie Walker Black Label 12-year-old or other aged scotch
- 2/3 ounce tawny Port (Lubos uses a 10-year-old)
- 1 teaspoon Drambuie
- 1 teaspoon simple syrup
- 1 teaspoon Angostura bitters
- Add all ingredients to a mixing glass. Stir over ice and strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
