Handmade Books and Assemblage
I originally was just going to write about handmade books because they draw me in so much. I find them simply magical in the art that is enclosed in a small space but then I found collage work on my search so I felt it only right to share these as well.
I was inspired to write about handmade books after last weeks episode of Work of Art: The Next Great Artist on Bravo and Mark who created a book that reflects memories of his childhood.
This piece, Eat I by Pat Street is perfectly composed. The artist added fortunes in the background. 
Gotta have this mini monster coloring book!
