Bay Area Vintage Finds
I ran into some old neighbors that I grew up with the other night at my favorite pizza restaurant in Oakland, Pizzaiolo and come to find out I am honored to be in the midst of a fabulous jewelry designer who takes vintage finds and makes gorgeous new pieces from it. Talk about recycled…oh my this is so upscale and delicious.
Elizabeth Dyson has been playing with beads and baubles ever since she was just a little jewel herself. Over time Elizabeth developed a passion for repurposing vintage items and gets a huge rush when searching for treasures at flea markets, garage and estate sales. Elizabeth says she is inspired by finding the beauty in old treasures and taking things apart to create new wearable pieces.
Her signature pieces are metal flowers and chunky rings. The vision of Vintage Fusion Jewelry is to transform old gems into unique pieces that fit the trends and style of today. And her goal, “to open my own boutique in the future”.
Enjoy Elizabeth’s vintage jewelry on her Etsy site at Vintage Fusion Jewelry .
This gorgeous yellow flower was once part of a candle holder. Just picture this with a fun hat, a soft gray silk tank and a big handbag. Perfect.
In its previous life it was a pin and now it’s the coolest ring ever!
I can’t resist shiny things…so when I saw this ring made from vintage clip on earings I was captivated.
Wear a little midnight on your finger with this darkly romantic ring made from a vintage broach.
Enjoy – Happy Tuesday…hope you all had a nice long holiday weekend.
